Rags to Riches

In case you missed it...here's the winner of the Belmont Stakes with HER jockey. Rags to Riches is the first filly to win this race in over a century--since 1905, 102 years to be exact!

I think this is an excellent way to show the race. The race "you" saw. Nice shot too.

    Surprise, surprise, surprise. It's me!

  8. It is about time...what a beautiful horse! Baby girl and I went to see the Lipenzaner stallions last night. What a treat...my new camera is not here yet, the old camera is officially dead, and we had to content ourselves with the pictures we took in our minds.

  12. I love it -- the filly showing up the colts. I wonder how long before people have combined races as well? Hey, what about jockeys? How many of the jockeys are women? Wouldn't that make sense, being smaller and lighter on average?!

    Are you a rider Kate?
