Sunday Bridges

April is Poetry Month  . . .

Paul Simon
Bridge Over Troubled Water

When you´re weary, feeling small
When tears are in your eyes, I'll dry them all...all...
I´m on your side, oh, when times get rough
And friends just can´t be found
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down

  1. This is soooo nice. And that's one of my favorite songs. Did you read Art Garfunkel's tale of woe about their breakup and how Simon's being left out of a movie part led to the writing of this song?

    Have a great week!

  13. It's hard to imagine trouble waters looking at this bridge. It's very sweet; I like how you caught the flowers blooming at either side.
