Ugh! It looks like you snowbirds didn't completely escape the snow. . .they saved a storm or two especially for your return. Now isn't that generous of the Winter gods?
our temps are in the 80's this week....hope we don't see anymore winter!
ReplyDeleteGosh, Kate! Amazing to see so much snow hanging about. Hope your garden has some nice flowers nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteOh, may I say something positive? At least it is not fresh snow, and lilacs will overcome this, too!
ReplyDeletePlease take a blowtorch to that white stuff:-)
ReplyDeleteI lived in Wisconsin for one winter. The last piles seem to last forever.

I love Andy's comment above. Time for it to go!
ReplyDeleteHehe! We may get some snow here on Friday. Or not. April is so fickle!
ReplyDeleteIt's melting though. Soon this too will pass.
ReplyDeleteHopefully it will all be warm soon. We have had a roller coaster spring here too, 70's yesterday, 40's today. Glad I haven't planted yet.

oh, i remember those sloppy winter, then spring, then winter days from wisconsin.
ReplyDeleteIt *will* end! Hopefully soon too!
ReplyDeleteHow well I remember! Come back to SC Kate! ;) Its warmed up quite a bit since you headed back, isn't that always the way??
ReplyDeleteWell, it's November today again...raining so hard my back garden has flooded! IT's a strange time of year everywhere.

I feel your pain! ;-)
ReplyDeleteLate spring could be a bummer. Just when you thought it was warming up and you put down the top of your convertible, it would get cold and snow.
ReplyDeleteIt will, however, get better. Guaranteed!
Always one or two snow piles just takes their time leaving!
ReplyDeleteHere in Oklahoma today we are going through an ice storm with breaking
branches on the trees. The last two days touched 80F. Cruel month indeed!
And what a different scene it will be tomorrow in Minnesota!
ReplyDeleteThe snow fell here for the last two days but luckily it did not stick.
ReplyDeleteIt will be gone by tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI believe so, glad that Spring has finally settling in at our end. I hope it does at your end as well.
