If you examine the arrangement carefully, you can see the florist arranger's interpretation of the painting: the bark of the tree, the bridge, water and green foliage. Cool, huh?!

"The White Bridge" John Henry Twachtman, c1895
It took several looks...but I finally see the white bridge and the water. I really like this concept....wonder if it travels to other museums around the country?
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I like that painting very much.
ReplyDeletethat's pretty cool! and just plain pretty!
ReplyDeleteI like it! It's an excellent interpretation.
ReplyDeleteThis is the same concept that the Phoenix Art Museum dos each Spring, as Sharon has shown on her Phoenix Daily Photo site.
ReplyDeleteVery cool Kate and super clever.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful arrangement!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful !
ReplyDeleteI don't see it. Well, I see the tree and some of the foliage, but no bridge. Not the first time I haven't seen something. I do like the arrangement, though.
ReplyDeleteBoth arrangements are attractive, but I prefer today's.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I sorta see it! :))
ReplyDeleteThis is very nicely done, Kate.
ReplyDeleteI do like this one more than yesterdays.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting. I see it!! Art is in the eye of the beholder so I've heard. This would be fun to try at home. MB
