Red Hat Society

If you want to join The Red Hat Society for "Fun after Fifty, there's no better place to find your purple outfit and red hat than The Encore consignment shop on St. Clair and Hamline Avenues, a shop I have introduced you to here. Have a good week-end, everyone! See you Monday.

  2. Fabulous hats! I hope the society is still going when I hit five-O! Isn't it interesting how a group of women wearing red hats looks like so much fun?

  4. I knew only the "Les dames au chapeau vert".
    Ladies with green hat.
In Finland, nowadays, some bloggers use the expression : "aunts with flower hat" to despite people who don't appreciate enough the globalisation.

  5. Great hats! I remember the previous hat posting which I loved. I love hats and used to wear them all the time, even when showing a dog! Perhaps I should start being a hat lady again - better than a bag lady!

That one with the wide brim would look good on me next summer when I go out and about working in the yard. I get skin cancer so I need to wear something. I think it would look nice with suspenders.

  15. Hello, my name is Eugene Schoenle. I am an activities director at a nursing home in Kaufman TX. Many of my elderly lady residents have expressed any interest and starting a Red Hat society. I feel that this is a great opportunity for my residents to keep and exercise their independence. My biggest problem is that I know nothing about the Red Hat society. So now I am appealing to anyone who can send me information about the Red Hat society. We are a very rule nursing home and do not have a big budget I do not know how much Red Hat's cost or if we could afford them if anybody out there has a extra Red Hat that they would like to donate to our ladies please contact me at eschoenle@seniorlivingemail.com or eschoenle@hotmail.com or 972-932-2118.

  18. May 12 I am still trying to find information on how to join. I am a educator retiree, St. Paul; wish a active and kind group of people which I know you all are. How do I join and which chapter of St. Paul do I join? I am not an avid computer interactor as a main outlet of being around people.
