FRONT
BACK I'm still looking for more information regarding these art pieces. I'll try to photograph more of the art that's scattered around the campus on the next sunny day.

VISUAL SAINT PAUL
interesting -- don't think I'd put it in my yard, though. :)
ReplyDeleteHmmmm... Dunno about this one.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting sculptures, Kate. Are there not any plaques to at least identify the artist? Here's hoping you are able to find some info on them!
ReplyDeletePleasant works, glad the campus has beauty in mind. I don't imagine many unis would be single sex unless 'unis ' are not what I have in mind. Or some residential 'houses' on campus can be for either male or female.
ReplyDeleteWell, we can be fairly certain that they are not even remotely connected with Rodin. :)
ReplyDeleteMan, woman or child? Animal or mineral? yes, do tell!
ReplyDeletej'aime vraiment beaucoup, merci pour ces multiples vues de cette statue.
ReplyDeleteI really like this statue, thank you for these multiple views of the statue.
Very likable, different sculpture.
ReplyDeleteIts very interesting how art goes to the streets, a lot of people can appreciated it and learn a little bit more in the way to office or home. Great post, I like the front view of this silhouette!
ReplyDeletethey are such fun
ReplyDeleteShe seems a little knock-kneed but quite interesting. It must be a difficult medium to work with.
ReplyDeleteI guess if you got it, flaunt it... and she's definitely got it. I am not sure they look as good up close as from further away, sort of an impressionistic sculpture?
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Wayne
I love looking at all kinds of sculpture--public art is so important.

ReplyDeleteThis is fun art....but real women are more sweet.
ReplyDeleteHi Kate,
ReplyDeleteI'm anxious to hear about Faye too. Since the surgery was Monday, perhaps she is still in the hospital and has no computer. Don't know enough about her family to know if they would do updates.
I like this one.
ReplyDeleteAmazing sculpture!
ReplyDeleteGalvanized tin? Or whatever those tubs are made of that we have on farms?
