My Thanksgivings!!
Happy Thanksgiving, Blogger Friends! I know that this day is a special day for citizens of our country, but I want to include everyone on worldwide DPB on a day when we give special thanks. For what am I thankful? Too many blessings and privileges to list, but foremost among them are:
My beautiful family...and friends...
My country, warts and all that allows me to
...worship or not worship as I choose
...the right to freedom of speech and press
...all the other Bill of Rights
a chance to lobby and vote for the candidates of my choice, even if they don't
win!
opportunities to become educated, and
...a healthy, happy life.

ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you and your family! (belated) Wonderful pics! I like the museum look, very clever! I'm still learing how that program works.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated Thanksgiving, your photography album is very cleverly formatted. Like the museum setting and frames. Wishing you a happy weekend too, Kate, and I'm sending you some sunshine:)
ReplyDeleteYour post is wonderful. I remember the family museum photos. I wish I knew how you did that. I really appreciate what you said about our country....warts and all. As frustrated as I am with our current administration, I can not imagine living anywhere else.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving Kate.
ReplyDeleteIndeed there's many things to be thankful for.
Yes, you are so right. Politicians apart the rest is great and is a good reason to be thankful. If it weren't for that, too many things couldn't be done and people wouldn't be so thankful. I don't believe in saying thanks just for the sake of doing it. So I couldn't agree more with your point.
ReplyDeleteNice photos
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry I missed saying Happy Thanksgiving, Kate. I was buried! But fun. I hope yours was wonderful.
ReplyDeleteYes, in spite of the multitude of flaws in this land, we are most fortunate to have the rights we have. I am thankful that I can complain to my heart's content! :)
All the best to you and yours.
