Children's Art-Wall Murals

This is only one group of the much-larger-than-life murals on the walls of Capitol Hill Elementary School in St. Paul, MN.

  1. This is very pretty and I love the colors.

Is there a reason you have so much street art in St Paul? We have nothing like that here.

  2. These kids are real artists. I love the simple bright colors. Wouldn't they be pretty on a patio wall or walkway?

  6. Faye, These murals are on an inside wall, but, yes, I guess we do have lots of street art. Perhaps it's because I'm looking for it. I don't think that it's any greater than communities of similar size, tho. Don't really know! I'd like to think that we're highly talented!!

  9. You really got some talented young artists. Great idea to let the kids paint their school by themselves.

  13. Hi, Kate. Thanks for the comment about Amy & Starbucks. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I'll try to stop in some time.

  14. Speaking of children's art -- last July I enjoyed the regular art show at our Marin County Fair, but the "kids" art completely blew me away! Most of it was much more imaginative and creative than what the adults had done... I was thoroughly impressed! Just thought I would toss that in...
