Birthdays or any other special occasion is always a reason for me to celebrate with my family and friends. Because my birthday falls on September 11, I have been less than celebratory since 2001. So I thought my day would pass with the usual feelings of sadness. MVBF who knows this met me for café last Monday and presented me with this rhubarb strawberry pie. Friendship! Friendship! Couldn't Wait!

Yes, Meg, it's a Canon Powershot S31S. I debated between that and a Canon Powershot 700. Hope I made the right decision. Still in the box, tho; haven't had time yet to look it over and try it out: taking Spanish at Univ.St.Thomas and tutoring, too.
