Urban Fence



While walking Wild Wendy I saw this picturesque white fence with part of the shrub peeking through the slats. I like the tenacity of the greenery and the way it looks as it tries to escape its confinement.

  11. Looks like the shrub is successfully escaping the fence. Nice photo of this classic white picket fence.

  13. The greenery is trying to escape and you'll note the fence is growing higher in spots to keep that from happening!

  16. Nice looking white fence. I could never figure out though why people plant shrubs behind their fences like that. What's the purpose of the fence then?
