Buddy, a rescue dog in our neighborhood, is in training. When I took this photo he barked, which alerted his owner to my presence, but he didn't leave the yard . A+ Buddy!
A good looking canine! I read an article yesterday (skimmed it, actually) that said dogs are a lot smarter than we give them credit for! (Sorry about the grammar!)
I once saw a video for an invisible fence and it showed a Fox Terrier coming up to the charged area, getting shocked , and then running for dear life down the street with 3 people chasing him!

ReplyDeleteI get a kick out of 'invisible fences'. Are they really there?????
A neighbor here has her dog in training. I think Buddy is a faster learner than Dillon

ReplyDeleteOur neighbor had one of these, but it didn't work. He always came and pooped in our yard. :(
ReplyDeleteThat's cool. I wish all dogs were trained...
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed!

ReplyDeleteI love all these failure stories. I'll have to tell Buddy's owner how smart his dog is!!
DeleteIt may not keep the dog in, but it would keep me from trying to test it out and go into the yard. Buddy is a nice looking dog.
ReplyDeleteA good pup!

ReplyDeleteInvisible fences can be prettier than some other fences I've seen.
