Beeswax Candles

Saved this photo from the downtown St Paul European Christmas Market.  Making these candles            must be quite a feat.  I don't think I'd want to burn these candles at both ends!!

  2. I wonder if the wax drips all over the place with these. They sure are unusual.

  4. Interesting. I wonder how fast they burn. I'd be concerned about the one that brings so many wicks together at the top.

  5. Beautiful work! My parents had a couple of candles you wouldn't light up, including one in the shape of a Venus di Milo.

  6. Hmmm...only in St. Paul. I think you need to be careful 'cause the word on the street is that twisted candles come from a twisted mind. Hey, that's what I heard! But it was on a Minneapolis street so it may not count.

  9. Conversation pieces, methinks, not meant for burning. ;)

  10. Oooh! These are wonderful! I'd probably never burn one if I had it...yet I have a burning desire to see what it would do if I did!

  11. Hah! The one on the right was probably left in a warm window too long.
