Wreaths are appearing everywhere, even on cars and fire trucks. Intrigued by this phenomena, I drove around the neighborhood yesterday, trying to find unique wreaths like the one I posted here in Tangletown. No luck. Those on the outside of homes, all looked like the one in this photo, varying only in size: green boughs with an attached red ribbon. Perhaps wreaths inside homes are more creative and different. I shall continue my search; 'til the season is over.

I like this....A wreath where you wouldn't expect one. I have seen cars here with reindeer antlers.
ReplyDeleteI've seen lots of wreaths and bows on cars this year and occasionally a red nose and antlers.
ReplyDeleteLooks perfect on the vibrant red fire truck Kate.. I have a slightly different fireman related story later this week :)
ReplyDeleteA really nice decoration.

Wreaths with red go good in Minnesota in the winter wherever they are found!
ReplyDeleteWell that is new for me, a car with a wreath!
ReplyDeletehappy hunting! :)
ReplyDeleteFun to see a firetruck all decorated. I look forward to seeing what else you find.
ReplyDeleteI've been hunting for unusual wreaths too. They aren't as easy to find as I thought they would be!
ReplyDeleteSounds like an interesting project!
ReplyDeleteI don't think anyone would even think of doing this here!
ReplyDeleteI like it! I usually see just two variables in wreaths. Real vs plastic, and bright red bow vs burgundy. Great project!
ReplyDeleteHi Kate, So far I think you are the only one who noticed that "photoshop" tag. Yes, I took two pictures, the nice photo of the hawk but there was nothing else in the picture but sky so I put the bird into the canyon picture that I took earlier. It would be almost impossible to get that picture any other way. I love playing with photoshop. I always put that tag on so if viewers are as observant as you, they know it's a manipulated picture.
ReplyDeleteProbably if they were really attractive, someone might take them...not nice to say, but probably true!
ReplyDeleteMy sister is having a home built in Bend, OR... plywood covers the door and yes she's hung a wreath.
ReplyDeleteHaving a wreath on this fire engine is pretty good, even though it is a simple wreath.
ReplyDeleteHave fun wreath-hunting! 'Tis the season! My favorite is the reindeer antlers on cars.
ReplyDeleteThey're feeling festive.
ReplyDeleteA curious place for a wreath!
ReplyDeleteA very strange place for a wreath!
ReplyDeleteI've been watching for these and only seen one this year.
