This fall I bought the exact same bird feeder on the right. I did not want to pay the price of $90.00 for it. I broke down and bought it. I'm glad I did. It's saving me a fortune in bird seed. The squirrels can no longer steal the seed. I still feed the squirrels and you can view it here.
My brother and his wife, who live in St. Cloud, visited us just before Christmas and they commented that they go through a lot of bird seed in the winter.

ReplyDeleteI know they're thankful to have a benefactor like Jim!
ReplyDeleteKudos to both of you. Our wee avian friends need all the help they can get during a Minnesota winter!

ReplyDeleteReminds me that I need to put food in my feeder. It's fun to see how many varieties of birds find a feeder.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a cold and cloudy day. The birds will be happy to see these feeders.
ReplyDeleteI bet those birds get mighty hungry in the winter months.
ReplyDeleteBy the sounds of it, this is probably a neighborhood hot spot. They may not show it, but I'm sure the birds are mighty thankful.
ReplyDeleteThat is what happens her, too! I love the snowy branches in the background.
ReplyDeleteWe must be feeding the same birds. Food does not last long here.
