Great capture, Kate! I just heard today that someone in "northern USA" caught a 3+ pound GOLDFISH through the ice. It would have been a record but it is unlikely that the state keeps records on "goldfish"
Okay. . .did you know that the best way to see if a fish is fresh is to look it in the eye? If it's clouded over (like this one's) it's gotten long in the tooth, and, uh, fishy.
Fierce, frightful, fishy foto find! Fantastic!
ReplyDeletehaha.
ReplyDeleteI always ask that! Plus,is it domestic or foreign?
ReplyDeletePerhaps the fisherman's secret is that he is afraid of fish who look like that and prefer to leave them in the lake.
ReplyDeleteIt sure has some teeth!
ReplyDeleteYes...what is the fisherman's secret? How did he catch this fierce looking creature?
ReplyDeleteIt does look like that big one that got away.
ReplyDeleteNo fishy story here! Just good advertising for the market!
ReplyDeleteA different interpretation of the gargoyle! :-)
ReplyDeleteNow that is a sign that I wouldn't soon forget.
ReplyDeleteFunny and eye catching!
ReplyDeleteI wish I found this place first, Kate!

ReplyDeleteDefinitely a case of ..'lets eat it before it eats us' haha! Nice find Kate.
ReplyDeleteThat's a monster fish! I wonder if its eyes light up at night.
ReplyDeleteI've been THERE! :) I think I even have a photo card of that very place. Fun, fun, fun.
