The Arth House-July 2012 Theme Day: CHIMNEYS

The Arth House on Ramsey Hill in St. Paul, Minnesota was built in 1886 for $4,600.  Despite a sign in the front, I found no information on the internet regarding this home.  I would love to know more about it so I could share it with you.  The "twisty" chimney is amazing!! I first learned about this spectacular chimney from Lucas by a post on her blog, Picture St. Paul.

DH and I will be visiting my sister in Green Bay, Wi and also vacationing in Door County for awhile, but I have posts scheduled while I'm gone.  I will check your blogs to be sure not to miss anything, and  I'll comment as often as possible.

  5. Now there's a new twist for chimney construction. The mason was probably all in a knot before placing the last brick in that chimney!

  18. Amazing. I have never seen anything like this. Coming home after a few drinks and looking up at this chimney could be sobering. (If someone built something like this on the beach in Costa Rica, it might make the crabs walk straight and the lobsters walk sideways.)

Have a good trip back to your native Wisconsin.

  20. I forgot what theme day was this month. I should have checked here first. I like the chimney. Looks like it could be in one of those 60s Disney movies.

No tech issue with my camera. I have pins in my left hand and a huge cast over it. My luck im also left handed so i cant write and using a mouse right handed sucks, lol.
