A friend suggested that I join Flickr's 365 Days group which mandates that one posts a different self-portrait each day for one whole year. I thought about it, checked into it, and thought momentarily that I'd give it a whirl. Jim came into the room as I was photographing my feet, ankles, shoes, and hands so Jim asked what was possessing me. I showed him the site, with many hilarious as well as quite professional photos, but he just stared at me and left the room shaking his head. I think I lost his support. After more careful consideration, I think I'll delay my decision until clearer heads prevail. CDP keeps me busy enough!
365?? That sounds like a mission impossible. Jim might be right.

ReplyDeleteI think CDP is almost a full-time job in itself! I don't think I'd have time for the Flickr challenge. But a self-portrait a day series must be interesting to look back on a few years later or so.
ReplyDeleteI think your husband's reaction was rather restrained upon being told you were contemplating joining a computer site in which one posts 365 photos of body parts. I have not seen the site, but after feet and hands and toes, people might start running out of parts to show.
