Bleu Cheese, perhaps?-Camera Critters
Displays in grocery stores are getting more and more creative. It seems that blue cows such as this one helps Beemster develop some wonderful cheese.
Beemster cheeses come from the quiet canal lined pastures of North Holland where cows have grazed freely since 1612.

This must be where blue cheese comes from.
ReplyDeleteGreat, I have never seen a disply like this!
ReplyDeleteDid you tell this cow to 'say cheese' before you snapped these images?

I wonder why they chose bright blue as a representative color for the cow.
ReplyDeleteCute cow critter capture, Cate! I think I posted her cousin on my blog from the Eagan Byerlys! I had to be quick and sneaky as the Byerlys staff don't like cameras inside their store....
ReplyDeleteThat's certainly an eye catching display kate, well spotted!!
ReplyDeleteHi Kate! This Beemster cow must attract a lot of attention. I've not heard of Beemster cheese, which doesn't mean anything 'cause I've not heard of lots of things. I've never seen a blue cow before, either. But I have seen pink ones! (That's another story!)
ReplyDeleteIt worked with a blue cow - you noticed it;)
ReplyDeleteI always wonder what they do with the decorations after they are done with them. I would take that blue cow home with me. I like it.
