Image of Calmness

Despite being damaged by the elements, this small lawn ornament is the image of calmness. It reminds me that I need to return to meditation, which is a healthy practice endorsed by the medical profession.  Do any of you meditate?

  1. Yes, I do but, I haven't in a while. Thanks for the reminder.
The photo makes me think of Julie. She has four or five Buddha's in her garden.

  5. I meditate sometimes and it is, indeed, a wonderful and healthy practice. But I've neglected it lately. So, you've reminded me of the need to get back to it, too!

  6. I don't meditate, but do spent time vegetating. Does that count?

  7. I do. I practice yoga, by myself since I left Minnesota, and it's part of my morning routine. That way I don't forget. It keeps me calm and brings me peace.

  8. I do. I started doing it several months ago before I do my morning exercises. It gets me centered and helps me remember what's important to me.

  9. I have a similar figure Kate. I used to meditate years ago but I'm not sure why I stopped, I remember enjoying it very much. I think you may have inspired many of us to think about it again Kate, merci beaucoupūüėÉ
