I vowed that this year I would not complain about the weather, but instead look for beauty. After our recent light snowfall, I think I found some attractive scenes.
Lovely winter scenes, Kate. Glad you are capturing the beauty of the season. You all get a lot more snow than us. We've got a fair a mount in the mountains, but in town it melts quickly. I love the snow! Hiking in it is such a quite, peaceful, happy place.
The door with the evergreens and snow is SO pretty!
ReplyDeleteyou most certainly did.
ReplyDeleteCome to Maine in February... and complain all you want about the snow! ha!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, you certainly did!
ReplyDeleteThere is beauty everywhere, all we have to do is look for it! You found some for sure.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I'm guessing (from previous photos) that is your door...
ReplyDeleteRe your comment about St. Nic: That's the way you're going to leave it? He dropped off part of what? The suspense is killing me. Sort of.
Beautiful Wintery images Kate, the door looks so elegant and very welcoming!
ReplyDeleteI agree that's it's better for the attitude to look for beauty than to complain. You did indeed find much beauty!
ReplyDeleteGood resolution, and good job with the photos! The big challenge comes when it's ice and slush time. . .perhaps that's when you head south for a bit!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful to look at! But I am not looking forward to this kind of weather chez moi! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd boy did you capture some beauty. These are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYour central photo is certainly lovely. It makes the best out of the snow.
