Action and Reaction
This was not a pretty sight, and it didn't look good. There seems to be lots of action from others on the scene. DH would not stop to gawk, but I, the roving blogger, would have stopped to get more information had I been alone. Photo as taken on a return trip home after a pleasant road trip. My hope was that no-one had been hurt, but...

malheureusement il y a toujours des gens qui veulent aller plus vite que les autres ;(
ReplyDeleteI don't like to gawk at these scenes either. It's better not to see something you might not be able to forget!
ReplyDeleteI once saw a truck on the freeway slam into a car stopped on the shoulder and crush it. I stopped, horrified, called 911, and went to the remains of the car. The truck driver was not hurt. I expected to be horrified upon reaching the car. Fortunately, the care had been empty at the time it was smashed.
ReplyDeleteI hope that in the accident scene you came upon, the people were protected by air bags and seat belts.
Scenes like this one are always sobering reminders of how fast things can happen.
ReplyDeleteWe've been hearing nothing but accident reports because of a huge snow storm in northern Arizona. I-40 was closed for 6 hours yesterday because of several accidents and I just heard it's closed again this morning for more accidents. Black ice....scary stuff.
ReplyDeleteLots of action. I hope no one was seriously hurt.
ReplyDeleteI hate to see scenes like this. I see you in the mirror.
ReplyDeleteOuch! In a big way. I saw something similar last winter on 94 near the turn off to 35W south. Car had flipped over onto the median. One can only hope that lives were spared.
