Because this is the entrance to my favorite St. Paul house, I like the door but there are more spectacular doors on Summit Avenue. See April 13th, please (Blogger says the tag is too long to link!)
It's my favorite house because of the way it is maintained, and because it reminds me of my childhood. It's a beautifully kept two-story gray frame house with white and black trim. The lawn leading to the house is slightly elevated and boasts a front porch along the front on the lower level. It stands out in the very nice Crocus Hill neighborhood because of its basic simplicity and classic style.
The door is great, but for me seeing the stain glass art work says vintage St Paul home.
ReplyDeletebelle porte, tres graphique, j'aime beaucoup
ReplyDeletebeautiful door, very graphic, I like much
I really like it as most of doors you take. About long url, if necessary, you can snip it here: snipurl.com ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnyway using html tag here's your link: My favorite dedicate to Marie of Alexandria
Why is this your favorite house? Is it an atmosphere or just an appearance of this house? Or is it your home?
ReplyDeleteThe entrance is very inviting.
Have a nice time in your spring!
I like your choices. This is a nice door and everything is balanced.

ReplyDeleteWhy is it your favorite? And what goes into those planters, weather permitting?

ReplyDeleteyeah it's so elegant! :)
ReplyDeleteI also like the one of 13th, but I think it's too much for a house!
