Chiropractic Visit for Wild Wendy!
I'm still not mobile enough to get outdoors to do a photo shoot, which I am hoping will occur soon. In the meantime, I'm mining the archives for some half-way decent photos to post. Because of her injuries (fractured pelvis, broken rear leg and surgery to remove a hip socket) before we adopted her, Wild Wendy visits an animal chiropractor every three months. This insures that her spine and other parts of her body stays in alignment. WW actually enjoys the adjustments and her daily exercises that we give her. What a dog!!

Hello, poor pup! I hope she is doing well now. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteGood that Wild Wendy enjoys here treatments. She seems to have a good life after some terrible experiences.
ReplyDeleteI never heard of an animal chiropractor!
ReplyDeleteThanks for helping me learn something new today
Have a wonderful week-end!
Awwwwwwwwww, Wendy.....I can understand how you enjoy being manipulated by a chiropractor. Our old joints and back need realigning every once in a while!
ReplyDeleteYou go girl. {oh, and PS...speaking of manipulation, beg for some extra treats from Ma Kate when all is done!!]
She's such a good dog.
ReplyDeleteI had not heard of this service before and I think it's wonderful. I would think that large dogs could benefit from this. Larger dogs tend to have more back problems.
ReplyDeleteIs it possible that she's really "wicked" Wendy and there's nothing wrong with her, but she's got you convinced so she gets free chiropractic treatment every few weeks. I dunno, Wild Wendy is doing something right. And she's a cutie, too!
ReplyDeleteAfter all, that is Wild Wendy you are talking about and she is fabulous of course and enjoys these nice little visits to the chiropractor. :)
ReplyDeleteWW is a lucky dog to have you Kate!
ReplyDeleteYes, we sold our larger house a couple of months ago and have moved into the Trilogy Resort in Ocala, a gated 55+ community. We bought a house less than 1/2 as large as our previous one. That's why I've been out-of-pocket and not posting or commenting.
ReplyDeleteGlad she enjoys those adjustments.
ReplyDeleteWell, I have never heard of an animal going for an adjustment. She is lucky to have you!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you are having a rough time. I have heard over and over that knees are not easy.
Hopefully this all will just be just a memory soon, and you will be your old self...out and about.
Good for her!
ReplyDeleteVery nice of you take care of her. Good on you Kate!
ReplyDeleteBrave Wendy doing well for recovery.
ReplyDeleteShe certainly is a special dog Kate and really lucky to have you in her life ✨
