Anniversary

I am still unable to go on a photo shoot, but I want to acknowledge this day as one that we should not forget.  I dedicate this post to the victims of 9/11,  their families and loved ones, and friends who have suffered the effects of this dastardly event. Is working and hoping for peace too much to ask?!

  2. Peace is always worth working for. Anything else is doomed.

  3. A great reminder, we will never forget. You wonder if peace will ever happen in the world. It seems crazier all these years later.

  6. Peace isn't too much to hope/ask for yet sadly it seems as if 9/11 has become a touchstone for prejudice, fear, and loathing in some quarters.
(Yes you may use one of my photos on your computer screen - which one? And a very happy birthday to you, too!)

  8. Terrific photo...what a terrible day that was. I was playing golf when we got word and we went right home to watch the entire horrible scene.

  9. A wonderful tribute Kate. It is a doubly sad day for me as it is also the anniversary of my mother's death 63 years ago when I was too young to even remember her.
