We are at our daughter's ( in their guest apt.) and left her LAB loose while we were gone. He ate two loaves of bread, a package of English muffins and a box of cookies.....He wasn't so hungry at dinner!
As a pup, our dog pulled the whole weekend paper into her enclosure and shredded it to form a layer about 4" thick. When we came back she was standing in the middle of it so proud of what she had accomplished. I can still see the look on her face, 12 years later!
Awwww, they're just checking! Our pup looks at us regularly and asks, "What in the world interests you about that stuff? I've tasted it and there's no food in it at all! I can't imagine why you spend so much time with it!" (Luckily, he came to us well trained and only gets into trouble instigated by his friend Jenny Bell. "The Watermelon Incident" is memorable.)
Naw....not those sweet things,

Surprised he wasn't sick!! Dogs digestive systems must be terrific!
DeleteAre sure a cat didn't sneak in? Those cuties couldn't have done it.
ReplyDeleteHm - may be that is why we have no dog? :-)
ReplyDeleteNow you see, I feel like doing that when I read some of the things they print in the newspaper :))
ReplyDeleteMaggi and Lexie looks adorable!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like someone had a real good time. Not those two sweet dogs though. Surely a cat was involved somehow.
ReplyDeletegood thing they're cute!!!
ReplyDeleteAW! Surely not those innocent looking partners in crime!
ReplyDeleteIn Chinese astrology I am a dog. My living room sometimes looks like "yours" but the only difference is I do not eat magazines and newspapers.

ReplyDeleteAwww, they look too adorable to be mad at!
ReplyDeleteLooks at those innocent faces.
ReplyDeleteIt is sad for you but I had a great laugh when I saw these pictures. They certainly are big readers!
ReplyDeleteLuckily it was just the newspaper so it is such a funny photo!
ReplyDeleteHopefully they had a good time shredding the papers!
ReplyDeleteOh every dog owner knows these looks! :D
ReplyDeleteSorry, Kate, but I have to admit these photos made me smile. How could you even suggest sweet Maggi and Lexie could be responsible. ;))
