"The main reason for visiting this former seaside village is to retrace the footsteps of Hemingway...who was a regular in the streets and bars.... The bust was paid for with donations from his fisherman friends.

ReplyDeleteI recall that Hemmingway was quite the sportsman. And I imagine the fishing was pretty spectacular during his time in Cuba.

People who fish together become very close, I think. Nice to know Hemingway's buddies wanted to remember him where he was happy.
