When your post came up, my first thought was, "That doesn't look like the St. Paul I know." Actually, it doesn't look like the Cuba I've read about but that only shows the depth of my ignorance! Beautiful shots for theme day!
I'm so pleased you were able to work Cuba into the theme day. These are beautiful shots - so nice to see the water's edge on your travels! The reflections are wonderful in the second shot.
Been a long day...forgot I had already visited. The palapa brings back memories of Mexico...where the hotel we stayed had these all along the water's edge. I use to joke that they were called palapas ...because you were supposed to pal lop pa down and do nothing!
As you well said: serene and peaceful. Then, what it's most interesting, in my opinion, is that it's also so far from conventional images people usually get in Cuba. Wonderful Kate !
