It was interesting to me to see that the stray dogs and cats all seemed to be well-fed and healthy. Not so in Mexico where there are more very sick stray animals on the streets.
Perhaps they nurse quite a bit longer when kept outdoors or when feral. My cats have all been spayed or neutered so we've had no kittens in my adult life, and my mom always had found homes at 8 to 10 weeks old for the 3 litters our cats had when I was young. Love your shot! -Kim
I would say that there is no denying who Dad is! Sweet family.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the kittens are pretty well-fed also!

DeleteThat is so cute! I was going to say that Dad looks like a fatty, but that would be catty!
ReplyDeleteThat is just too cute!
ReplyDeleteKittens are almost as large as momma cat. Suspect weening is in their immediate future!
ReplyDeleteWonder if they will make good mousers!
I can almost hear the purring.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Judy, I can almost hear some rather loud purring.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear that strays seem to do okay. Those "kittens" seem bigger than mom.
