Well, this is a REAL fence and a beautiful one...did not know today was the International Day of Peace so will remind all of the children who get sent to my suspension room. genie
The river and bluff is behind me as I stand on the opposite side of the street from the house. The house faces the river that is flowing gently at the bottom of the cliff.
Shalom / peace to you, Kate.
ReplyDeleteI've a young blogging friend, Jake from A Mennonite Dreamed a Dream, who is assiduous about remembering the day of peace.
ReplyDeleteWe need more people like he and you!
There's just nothing so nice as a white picket fence. Peace, Sister!
ReplyDeleteLovely fence! Happy Friday!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good fence, they must be good neighbors.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know it was The International Day Of Peace. Thanks for reminding us.
You picked a good image for International Peace Day Kate, even if it was unintentional! We should try for International Peace Week next..if only!

Peace to you my friend. Cute house but I'm not sure I like that fence.
ReplyDeleteI like the house, the fence and love the idea of peace. Hate a great weekend Kate..
ReplyDeleteSo, is the river behind you, with the house facing it, or is the river behind the house?
