Founder of St. Kate's
Sister of an Archbishop.
My Backyard Campus
I am very happy that Sister Seraphine founded St. Catherine's College (now a University) for many academic reasons but also because it lies in my back yard and has given our family a place of serenity and beauty. It borders our property, and as youngsters our children and now our grandchildren have spent many happy hours playing at the pond on the campus, feeding the ducks and turtles. Sister Seraphine in buried in Calvary Cemetery in St. Paul.
