Arrive at Boundary Waters
We have spent the last few day in
Grand Marais, a small harbor town in northern Minnnesota close to the Canadian border and the Boundary Waters Canoe area. A drive along Highway 12 on the
Gunflint Trail is spectacular any time of the year, but it's a special place in autumn.
Impressionnante cette enseigne.
ReplyDeleteIci on fait du canoe sur la seine, c'est sympathique
We have friends from Lake City, Co. That are going to that area next week. I have a funny canoe story that I will have to share someday!
ReplyDeleteWe spent a night in Grand Marais some years back. I got some good shots of the harbor and boats and rocks which my in-laws hung in their living room. It's a beautiful area!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great fall adventure.
ReplyDeleteIn theory yes as long as it is gentle. :)
ReplyDeleteAt first sight I thought it said "Gunfight" - thought we were off to the OK Corale.
ReplyDeleteCool sign!
ReplyDeleteI think that autumn in these northern areas would truly be spectacular. The sign is a reminder of the 50s and 60s.
ReplyDeleteBises,
