Cooperative

Camera Critter
Floats Lazily - St Kate's Pond
Peaceful Afternoon

One of my granddaughter's favorite activity is visiting and feeding the ducks on the pond on St. Kate's campus, located behind our house.  As long as we bring food, they are most cooperative.

  5. Ducks are funny that way. They like food. In south Florida there are 'Mucky ducks." They become very aggressive if they think you have food. They will chase you around the pond and into the pond if you're not careful. And they're really ugly.

Re your question on The Villages: That particular golf car was located at a golf car dealer in Lake Sumter Landing. There are lots of golf car dealers in and around The Villages. There are many outfits that will customize your golf car just about any way you want. Many of the designs are common, though, like the one that makes a golf car look like a 1957 Chevy. This one was unique. I don't remember the price exactly, but I think it was about $18K. Some of the more fancy golf cars can go upward of $30K.

A regular golf car with basic equipment is about $7K.

    C'mon down!

  7. I guess you spend your time snapping away while she throws in the bits of bread? Sounds like a nice way to spend the afternoon to me! :)

  9. Feeding the ducks was always a hit with our grandchildren too. Although, sometimes the geese would muscle in and get a bit rowdy.

Yes, you are welcome to use my picture of Toby, the working dog! Thanks for asking.
