Everyone is getting into the spirit of summer by decorating with flowers. The Downtowner car wash is spiffing up the building with a few blooms of their own Perhaps I can persuade them to get rid of the artificial blossoms and trade them for some live flowers!

I am not a fan of plastic flowers, but do you think they would remember to water real ones?
ReplyDeleteDefinitely (and always!) the real thing. What a difference to your previous post.
ReplyDeleteFrom a distance they look good. Just don't get too close. :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes, from a distance, the effect is even better!
ReplyDeletePlastic flowers? Hmmmm.
ReplyDeletei've been known to use artificial blooms in window boxes before. :)
ReplyDeleteyeah, it's not like they don't have water available to water them lol
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess plastic or maybe silk. They do add to the look of the place.
ReplyDeleteMaybe a big firecracker would do the trick. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteThe side basket made me smile Kate, talk about overkill :) they do look pretty from afar though and maybe they don't have the time to fuss.. they made an effort and that's the main thing :)
ReplyDeletep.s. would have loved to see Maggi's face when she heard the Kookaburra :)
I like 'em a lot, faux or not. Real flowers might be expensive and difficult to maintain. If you do persuade them to change, I'd like to know how you did it! :)
ReplyDeleteArtificial flowers are better than nothing!
ReplyDeleteNo idea, but it might be a difficult location to have real flowers in.
ReplyDeleteI know I'm picky, but even from a distance the colors read "fake!" to me. But it looks better than a blank wall, so I guess that's not a complaint.
ReplyDeleteThey need real ones to feed the bees.
