Oh, boy! I love, love, love this post. Y'all are so smart to think of this.
ReplyDeletebelles photos de famille ;))
ReplyDeleteNo alcohol was consumed in the production of these photographs. Yeah right
ReplyDeleteI especially love the three generational photo of the lovely ladies in "Fancy Nancy" hats! Exquisite!
ReplyDeleteA day to celebrate, Happy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteI just commented about women's hats on Jillly's site, and then I opened yours and found more hats -- evidently inspired by the popularity of hats among guests at the royal wedding.
ReplyDeleteThere are some creative creations here! Looks like everyone was having a good time.
ReplyDeleteVery funny, and fun. A bunch of mad hatters! Are you part of the Red Hat Society?
ReplyDeleteRe your comment on The Villages: Were you pulling my leg? The Villages, as I'm sure you know, is a huge retirement community - now with 30K plus homes and over 80K residents. We were also at Spanish Springs the other night and you wouldn't believe all the kids - must have been children and grandchildren visiting.
I like that tradition. Nice hats and ladies wearing them.
ReplyDeleteOlivia's gets my vote. Great shots Kate!
ReplyDeleteAnother royal wedding coming?
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun tradition you have going on there! I love it! Now I want to go decorate a hat.
ReplyDeleteI love your fun tradition. This must have been a most delightful day for all of you.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, Olivia has certainly grown into a lovely young lady.
Yes, hats fit for a QUEEN!

Very fun pictures and hats - creative Q post :)
ReplyDeleteDecidedly quirky hats! I love the one with the bears on it and bravo to the gentleman who had to put not just one, but a whole bunch of feathers in his hat!
ReplyDeleteI love the hats. Wonderful tradition and great family shots.
ReplyDeleteGreat quirky hats. What is it that makes them so much fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun tradition! And so perfect for Spring.
ReplyDeleteGood for you. Fun is the secret ingredient to the good life.
ReplyDeleteWonderful fun, - I see no lampshades????
ReplyDeleteWhat a very cool tradition! Great idea, Kate. And great portrait with the three generations!
ReplyDeleteFabulous idea - I would have awarded first prize to Olivia as well, though I do think yours and Jim's are rather splendid too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for Mother's Day fun. Think I'll see if we can do that next year.
ReplyDeleteYou must have had a lot of fun, great shots. Will you post a picture of the plucked parrot, too?
