Not the fault of the theme, but I haven't felt very inspired about this particular subject. I did, however, find this attractive lamp on the Lake Street bridge, which spans the Mississippi River and connects the cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis.

You may not be inspired, but I still like your photo! :-) Happy Theme Day!
ReplyDeleteLack of inspiration didn't prevent you posting something attractive and interesting to see.
ReplyDeleteYep, it's a nice one.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great. :)
ReplyDeleteNice photo of an attractive lamp.
ReplyDeleteHere in Mumbai, we have ordinary street lights and simple street signs, so this is a very attractive light to me too.
It looks lovely against that gorgeous sky.
ReplyDeleteHave a great long weekend!
I had trouble with it too, Kate...but your bridge light is very impressive. I can imagine it looks lovely in the night.
ReplyDeleteInteresting lamp indeed. Very gothic!!
ReplyDeleteI like the shot, Kate - nice solid lamp if I ever saw one!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I think we have had more interesting themes before. Nice lamp though... I think I was on the Lake Street bridge not so long ago.
ReplyDeleteohh we have a similar lamp in front of the Operahouse. One day I will post about it:)
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a beautiful lamp. Lovely against the blue sky. :)
ReplyDeleteWow, it's so beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice street lamp. :)

I wonder what masterpiece will you put when you get inspired

I wonder how old the lamp is. It looks like they were trying to make a statement when they built it -- about permanance. Nobody wants to cross a bridge that is not firm and lasting.

I would have thought you to be easily inspired ... nice photo with lots of sky.
ReplyDeleteIs there a similar lamp on the other side of the bridge?
ReplyDeleteInspired or not - it's a great photo!
ReplyDeletegreat photo, from one bridge light to another :).
ReplyDeleteKate, thanks for your visit and comment. It made me realize I'd forgotten the date! Now I've got it together. Thanks!

And, I do like your street lamp. It is beautiful and unusual (to my eye, as I've never been to St. Paul), so of great interest to me. Well done!
-K.
Nice post ;) and lamp!
ReplyDeleteKate, I reckon that your street lamp is simply perfect. I like it very much. Sorry that I did not get my Theme Day Shot onto the blog on the due date. I felt that the subject matter may have dampened the spirit of the day, and so I posted it on Sunday.
ReplyDeleteI do wish to say that I am most grateful for all your assistance that you previously gave me.
Despite being uninspired, you came out with something great!
ReplyDeleteNow, I am uninspired by the Theme next month! I am looking forward to how everyone will show their interpretation! LOL.
Happy Theme Day!
very nice shot of a beautiful lamp post.
ReplyDeleteI really love this lamp. It looks like our street lamps :-)
ReplyDeleteWonderful picture! I was about to post something similar when I realised the theme was quite different :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog. I answered your comment in further one.
Greetings from Paris, France!
