Yesterday morning it was too chilly to take pictures at the Farmers' Market so I loaded all my purchases (Maple syrup, eggs, lamb chops, apples, red and green peppers, tomatoes, and apple cider plain and sugared donuts) into the White Wizard and stopped at the car wash on my way home.
Great photo!
ReplyDeleteI just got to ask: are they Crispy Creme donuts? Hmmmm!!
ReplyDeleteI love sitting in the car as it goes through the car wash. :-)
I did the same today. :)
ReplyDeleteI second Ming - this post brings me back to my childhood when I would accompany my Dad to the carwash - we would stay in the car and chit-chat while the whole thing would go wooooosh-pchhhhh pchhhhhh pchhhhhh. Love it!
ReplyDelete"working at the car wash"....I've have that song running trough my mind now, thank you.
ReplyDeleteSorry, I forgot to wish you a Happy Belated Birthday too. From the looks of your pictures it was a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteKate, it's been so good to catch up on your recent posts - ones I missed cos I was away - and many thanks for your comments during that time.
ReplyDeleteLove the gushing water from the hydrants - and that beautiful fireplace. And a late happy birthday on such a sad day. Glad you could enjoy it with your family - as you should!
Looks cold in today's photo!
this is a masterwork! wonderful photo Kate!
ReplyDeleteWow. I really thought this was snow sliding off your car.
ReplyDeleteA belated birthday greeting to you!
ReplyDeleteWhite Wizard?!
So your apples are already washed ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove this photo! (Last night's dinner must've been delightful).
ReplyDeleteThat's a neat photo.
ReplyDeleteAny food left :)
ReplyDeleteGee, ours needs it, but Hubby likes it either dirty, or hand-washed. ^%$#!!
ReplyDeleteHa, I too thought this was snow at first. It's taken me a while to get back here -- haven't had much free time lately.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit to my blog, too. Much appreciated.

From where I buy my stuff, I don't need a car!
ReplyDeleteNow that's the way to do it, Kate. I washed my car in my driveway today.
ReplyDeleteSnow? In September?
ReplyDeleteThe White Wizard, eh? I like it. A name with lots of panache.
ReplyDeleteAt first glance, my first thought was, "SNOW ALREADY!"
I'm glad for you that it wasn't.
