Christmas in My Neighborhood #5

Green boughs without colour just don't cut it, but these scarlet ribbons make the swags much more festive!

Today in Minnesota History: 1985- Mary Lund is the first woman to receive a Jarvik-7 artificial heart, in Minneapolis. The device keeps her alive for about a month, until a real heart is transplanted. (Reference: MNHS:ORG)

You really have there much more decorating outside than we use to have here.
We have only different kind small lights, nothing else. But these decorations make a festive atmosphere.
    I can see.
I have send to you two Christmas cards
as email, would you look at them perhaps from your "spam post". ( They are send by my real name )
    Have a nice Christmas week!

  16. Indeed, very different from yesterday's decor. I'd like to say that I prefer today's more tasteful decorations, but there is a part of me that loves the over-the-top "as many lights as possible" look too. Knowing how much effort and care goes into setting up lights, I think that it is really "to each her own" and "the thought that counts"!
