You made me laugh out loud, Kate! :) Isn't it the truth. I don't have grandkids yet (how much longer do I have to wait . . . oh well, I guess the kids should marry first . . .).
Your mantle looks so pretty - makes me miss having a fireplace. Our son is a little bit in wonderment about how Santa is going to find him when we go to the beach. ;)
Yes, those middle stockings seem to be just the right size for the kids! I can't wait until your Mexico trip as well - I'm sure you're going to do a fantastic job of capturing it for all your readers!
Faye, Yes, the stockings are handmade as gifts from different friends. Dominique and Olivia have the largest ones, of course! And we really do fill them with small gifts.
Our family actually is very small; the adults also have them!
Don't have internet in México, and I need to do that so I can continue to blog--on a new site of course!
I love the huge stockings and the tradition. Our kids and grandkids all have them and they are huge. Somehow Santa always fills them with fun things. Santa happens to find something for Grandma and Grandpa too.
Yes I can guess :) Beautiful stockings. Are they all handmade? They look it.
ReplyDelete18 days.. I'm jealous.
les celebres chaussettes de noel... elles sont tres belles et assez grandes pour recevoir de beaux cadeaux.
ReplyDeletethe famous socks of Christmas… they are very beautiful and enough large to receive beautiful gifts.
