Last Sunday I posted a tribute memorial photo of Paul Wellstone, a Minnesota politician. Today I would like to honour another famous politician, former Vice President Hubert Humphrey. and his wife Muriel.

That is a lovely quote. I am Canadian but I do remember Hubert Humphrey.

ReplyDeleteHumphrey was a good man and would have made a wonderful president. I like his quotes.
ReplyDeleteI never appreciated him for his Vietnam war policies. But these days I'm stunned at how statesman like so many previous figures were, and how deeply I miss that adult approach to politics.
