José, an employee of one of our local TV stations, and I had a good chat before the candidates arrived for the political rally organised by the students at the University of Minnesota. Originally from Illinois, he likes living in Minnesota.
Because this photographer moved so quickly from one spot to the next as he recorded the event, I didn't have a chance to talk to him.

ReplyDeleteI hope the rally went well. I just watched the debate between our three candidates for Governor last night. There was an awful lot of name-calling in that one.

ReplyDeletePolitical rallies can be fun, especially watching the professional photographers at work. Am afraid the professional news photograph is a rapidly disappearing occupation. Everyone with a cell phone thinks they are a photographer, and newspapers are happy to cut photo staff.
