Every summer the homeowner in the house on the corner of Wellesley and Fairview in St. Paul displays a gorgeous planter of red geraniums. All summer so far I have been intending to stop, and today I managed to take some time to photograph them. Earlier in the summer, the flowers were more abundant and in full bloom, but now at the end of the season, the planter and blossoms are still impressive. The best part is the predictability, and my pleasure in seeing them!

ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful. I imagine putting in a window box with geraniums like that, but I guess I won't get around to it.
ReplyDeletePretty red!
ReplyDeleteYou can't go wrong with geraniums Kate, they are the best performing, hard working summer flowers 🌺

ReplyDeleteI love this! My mother used to grow geraniums and she especially liked the red ones.

ReplyDeleteIf this is "end of season" they must be truly spectacular when they're at their peak. They're very pretty.
