There are wonderful discoveries to be made along Summit Avenue in St. Paul. One of the homes has this interesting design along the front of their house, which is included on the entrance gate and along the property line of the sidewalk.

That is very beautiful but where's the snow? You must have taken this a couple of weeks back. :) My sister-in-law who just escaped from St. Paul to Bonita Springs, Florida said gleefully that she was able to get out before the big snowstorm.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of lace doilies!
ReplyDeleteI love it. I wonder if it has some meaning to the family.
ReplyDeleteLooks like someone trips the evergreens trying to grow through the design. Great detail along Summit Ave.
ReplyDeleteThey're quite pretty!
ReplyDeleteA symbol of the family maybe like a totem?
ReplyDeleteDear Kate: Re your comment on Ocala: You are, believe me, young enough to be a "biker chick." You should see some of the biker chicks that ride the back of Harleys here in Florida, especially at the big annual event in Daytona Beach! So don't give up. But your DH needs to grab one of the Harley Hogs quick because they're going to quit making them soon!
