McCollum TownHall Meeting

Minnesota Congresswoman McCollum held a TownHall meeting Saturday morning at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota and spoke to a large crowd, followed by an hour of Q and A.

One of the most cogent, well-prepared and concise question was posed by Alexi, a high school student from Roseville. If this student is an example of the future generation we have a positive outlook ahead of us. Unlike some of the more verbose adults, Alexi's comments and question indicated a well-informed and thoughtful student who "loves school!" The entire meeting between McCollum and the audience was spirited and lively. In addition to all the information she presented, our 4th district congresswoman exhorted activity and involvement from citizens and businesses. I'm ready!!

    1. I definitely am involved and have been since the day after "he" was elected. I am like a dog with a bone, determined to take back our government, constitution, and politics away from and out of the hands of the people with "dark money" that are attempting to change our country!

  4. Good for you, Kate. It's going to take many people "resisting" the Orange Headed Monster.

  6. Our congressman held a town hall a couple of weeks ago. I think a lot of the "representatives" are lying low. One wonders who they're representing anymore.

  8. Good for you for going! I attended my Congressman's Town Hall meeting last weekend. The venue had to be changed because so many people wanted to attend. Ultimately, 2,000 people showed up. There was lots of yelling and chanting...and the Congressman was continually interrupted and shouted down. That went on for 75 minutes. Basically, nothing was accomplished. But, I guess some people felt better for venting.
