Feet-Theme Day, June 2009
I think that I like the black and white better than the colour. How about you?
As you can see by the title, today is the Theme Day for June. Click here to view thumbnails for all participants. Please keep in mind that time changes may affect when a blog appears. Check as many as you can to see the diversity and creativity among the bloggers!
PS. Check my Mazatlán blog, too. Even tho I'm now in Minnesota rather than there, I couldn't resist posting that photograph.

Oh my goodness here is one colourful lady. Yes I like in B and W, Kate, but I like it in colour too. I always have difficulty in knowing myself which is best, so am not the one to ask. Now off to Mazatlan....
ReplyDeleteOn a photography level definitely the monochrome but blown away by the lilac hue of the boots. I would not have guessed that.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely black and white. I wouldn't have expected those colours at all!
ReplyDeleteLove those boots! Great take on the theme, Kate.
ReplyDeleteI think the B&W is the best. Looks like the little girl was out for some serious riding.
ReplyDeleteNice set of boots, whichever way!
ReplyDeletePurple feet meet bicycle feet! St. Paul feet greet Minnesota feet! Purple feet, boot feet and cowgirl feet! Riding on the street feet! Such a CDP FEET treat! Hi Kate Feet! EAGAN feet greet from my suburban street!
ReplyDeleteI like the black and white too. I bought my grandson a pair of cowboy boots and he likes to wear them to pretend he's Woody on Toy Story.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely, the B & W image is my pick.
ReplyDeleteI also like the black and white, but I'm glad you showed us the color so we could see the purple boots. Cute!
ReplyDeleteHappy theme day!!
I like the feel of the B & W photo, but the color version also has an unexpected splash of color in the wheels.
ReplyDeleteI love both pics -- I love the purple boots in the color pic. Would NEVER have guessed they were that color!
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful. I would of said the B&W was wonderful but then I saw the color of the boots & that was that! This brightened up my day.
ReplyDeleteNow those are some boots.
ReplyDeleteHappy theme day Kate ... I agree the b&w photo is best ... and thanks for using your poetic skills to respond to leif hagen from Eagan DP. He has made quite an poetic effort on his comments today and I know my skills are not up to the task ... so I was very pleased to see you put your poetic talent toward the task of leaving a wonderful comment.
ReplyDeleteYes, I prefer the b&w one too. The colour one is nice but its very colourful! Great post for theme day.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to disagree - I prefer the colour - there's much more of a story in the colour. The subject's age comes through clearer, the detail on the boots says something that's lost in B&W. Also, the colour is more joyful. And if that sounds as if I don't like the B&W, it's not meant to.
ReplyDeleteLove the shot.. little boots.. little bike. I like the black and white but I think I like the rich colors better.
ReplyDeleteLife is colorful, I love too much colors, no B&W for me... Wonderful choice in any version you like.
ReplyDeletewell, I like them both? Are these the darling granddaughter's cute little feet?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you showed both - what a surprise that the boots are purple!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking brown or may be red... but purple with the pink bike!!
ReplyDeleteBarbie looking!!!
This is great and I really like the black and white photo. Very nice! I am glad you liked the native American dancer
ReplyDeleteIn this case, I definitely like the color version better, because I love the color of her boots! Cool!
ReplyDeleteThe B&W version looks more appealing but the colors are vibrant. Both views are perfect for this theme!
ReplyDeleteLove the B&W image, as well as the raccoons in the previous post!
ReplyDeleteI'm a lover of the monochrome here too
ReplyDeleteYeah, the B&W one looks nicer :-)
ReplyDeleteA happy belated Theme Day!
