Escape Artist
Meet Millie, a young and rambunctious one-year-old dog who had been adopted from a shelter. I met her after one of her escapes and joined a number of people running around trying to catch her, but not until Millie decided that the game was over. She saw our own dog, Maggi, peering out of the front door, watching the fun so she ran to our porch to greet Maggi. We then collared Millie and admired this young, new neighbor. I think she'll become one of our favorites; love her spirit!

My Mom's dog is named Millie! Of course our Millie is 17 years old now:) Ooooh she does have spunk!
ReplyDeleteTo catch a dog you trust, don't chase it--get on the ground, lower than dog. Curiosity will cause the dog to come over to see why in heck you're suddenly acting submissive.
ReplyDeletemust have some terrier in her. love the mind of their own. Guess that's why we picked out dog...which turned our home upside down. :)
