Camera Critters-Sadie

Sadie came to us (legally) as a newly-hatched bird, and has now been with us 23 years. She definitely deserves front cover coverage, don't you think?! How long is their lifespan, I wonder?! To see more critters, click here.

Wow, and she made the news, no less. I think you must have had some idea how old Sadie will get. I know we had some Zebra Finches who seemed to live forever. We were expecting much less and got a lot more and missed them terribly when they were both gone.

  11. Beautiful colours !!

I have a friend who is in her 40's. She has a parrot that her parents had before she was born.

I think it's close to 50 now and her parents got it for a wedding present! :-)

  12. That's a wonderful photo montage :-))) I love parrots. A good friend of mine had one in Austin. The bird kept talking. I think they can live longer than humans.
