Although the colours are a bit faded, the logo itself is quite clear. The line down the middle indicates where two doors meet to close the opening. It's a familiar sign, but one perhaps you have not committed to memory.
on dirait une montgolfière. un celebre logo pour un soda, mais je ne suis pas tres fan (du soda, j'aime le coté graphique du logo) It looks like a balloon. A famous logo for a soda, but I am not very fan (of soda, I like the graphics of the logo)
Where are you finding these Kate? It is a Pepsi logo, of course, and next, can you possibly find a Mail Pouch Chewing Tobacco logo on the side of a barn?
My dad's favorite chewing tobacco. It killed him but he enjoyed it for most of his life.
Abraham, These logos are all over; we just don't "see" them. This one was on the back doors of a huge delivery truck. I'll keep alert for the tobacco logo, but I haven't been out in a rural area for a long time, and I suspect that I might find one on a barn somewhere.
Your question, all the money of the telethon will answer to an association the AFM (French Association against the Myopathies) which after distributes this money between the researchers and the centers of rehabilitations. The largest research center against the muscular diseases neuro is in Evry.
Lovely faded colours - I don't drink either now, but when I was a child I always preferred Pepsi to Coca-Cola - maybe the design had something to do with it!
Love this Kate, and the way photography makes you stop and look at stuff you see every day. By the way, notice you are a Green Bay Packers fan, how about those Cowboys ! (Sorry, couldn't help myself ;))
Although I don't usually drink Pepsi (or any other soft drink) I recognize the logo.
ReplyDeleteI like it a lot better than Coke's (the logo, I mean).
ReplyDeleteThat sure looks like a Pepsi logo.

ReplyDeleteYeah, that's easy. It is pretty clear. The others! Being a Coke fan and all. Although that P--s- Max is driving me nuts lately. ;)
ReplyDeleteI thought Pepsi, and now I see, I was right. :-)
ReplyDeleteMari-Nanci
I would not have guessed the Pepsi logo was on the back of a truck though. Neat shot. Great exercise in shifting one's perspective.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Wayne
Good ole Pepsi. I drink Diet Pepsi.
ReplyDeleteToday, take a ride on Santa's Railroad car sleigh.
It is on the bottle beside me (in the Max-version).
ReplyDeleteSome door!
I had no idea what this was until I read other comments. Just that it looks different not on a can. Good find, Kate.
ReplyDeletePepsi Generation...
ReplyDeleteOh yes, one look and I know which brand it is!
