May 1, 2015 Theme Day: Revolutions

I wonder how many REVOLUTIONS these tires have made during the life of this car?   Not to mention the REVOLUTIONS in car design and performance!! Byron, the owner, has had this 1924 Ford Model T-touring car for 50 years.  While he was still in high school he bought the car from a banker in Forest Lake, Minnesota.  I do not know anyone who has owned a car for 50 years!!He has had lots of fun with it, and I doubt that Byron will ever part with it. Tomorrow I will show you some other features of this car.

  5. That would be fun to take a ride in. Maybe not all the way from New York to Seattle, but a ride around town would be nice.

  9. Good question…how many revolutions have those tires endured? I especially like the last shot with Byron leaning against his Model T poking around on his smart phone. Talk about a technology revolution!

  10. Now that is a good looking car and to own it for 50 years is amazing! It is reminding me of the stories my grandmother used to tell me about the Model T Roadster her father bought her when she was a girl. Nice choice for the theme.

  12. I thought I'd owned my '68 VW bug a long time (just under 20 years)! I like that this one shows a little wear and tear. Most of the vintage cars I've seen lately are so perfectly restored it looks as if their owners would cry if a bug smashed into the windshield.
