Year Round Guests
These two rabbits hang around our house all year and they particularly like the Easter season when they are placed on the mantle rather than on the floor by the fireplace where they reside for the rest of the year. I'm especially fond of them because they are one of the first objects of "art" that I bought in 1962 from the Minneapolis Institute of Art shortly after Jim and I were married. I should have removed the fading leaf before I took the photo, but my bunny pals don't seem to mind.

ReplyDeleteNice memories associated with the bunnies. They deserve a place of honour at Easter time. ;)
ReplyDeleteThose bunnies really look cute guarding that pretty bouquet of tulips.
ReplyDeleteQuite a cute set to decorate the house!
ReplyDeleteI like those kind of bunnies better than the ones that decimate my veggies and flowers!
ReplyDeleteSweet bunnies.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to have items that are linked to memories. Love your bunnies!
ReplyDeleteThese two bunnies are very cute indeed, Kate, and they have a nice home !
ReplyDeleteRe your question on BDP: You can read my answer there...
Those are sweet bunnies that have become part of the family. I have a vase of yellow tulips too....mine are on their last leg.
ReplyDeleteAt least they bunnies aren't eating your plants. We had a cottontail in our bushes in the front yard, yesterday, then in the bushes in the back yard, and then in the trees at the rear of the property. Must be bunny season and he/she was a honey.
ReplyDeleteWe have a little bunny similar to the one on the right. It's usually outside one of our doors. I call it our "watch rabbit."
