Early Morning Sky-Skywatch Friday

I often curse when I cannot fall back asleep in the morning; too often I wake up too early.  A few weeks ago, I guess it was worth staying awake since this sky greeted me when I opened the door.

Linking to Skywatch Friday

For the next few days I will not be commenting on blogs because we will be involved in the memorial and funeral/cemetery burial of my husband's brother.  Families are scattered across a number of states so a family dinner and lunch will be occupying our time.  I have posts scheduled but will be absent for awhile.

  2. Karl is so funny! I'm wondering what words you use when you curse. Were you ever in the Navy? If so, then I'd know. Sorry to hear about your husband's brother...not a fun time.

  4. I have the same problem of waking up too early, Kate. My cure? Watching a TV show on Netflix (I can never get through them when they're on the air). Usually within 10 minutes I'm asleep again! Sometimes it takes me forever to finally see all of one episode!

Sorry to hear about your family's loss. We'll keep you in our prayers.

  8. I wake up early too Kate.....probably because I go to bed with the chickens.. Mother had three children very close together and family would laugh at her for putting her kids to bed so early....The three of all still don't stay up late.. I agree with Teresa. Hopefully you can celebrate your brother in laws life.My condolences.
